To make a pledge for Amos and Katy's hike across the entire Appalachian Trail, you may make a one-time flat donation online or you may fill out the printable Pledge Form and mail it to the Urban Appalachian Council. At the end of the Appalachian Trail expedition, UAC will confirm the total miles walked, providing documentation from the Appalachian Trail Conference (a non-profit that assists hikers and maintains the trail).

The Appalachian Trail is 2,175 miles long. If you decide to pledge an amount per mile, here are some examples of pledge amounts. If you donate:

1 penny per mile	= $21.75
2 cents per mile	= $43.50
3 cents per mile	= $65.25
4 cents per mile	= $87.00
1 nickel per mile	= $108.75
1 dime per mile	= $217.50
1 quarter per mile	= $543.75
1 dollar per mile	= $2,175.00

All donations will go directly to the project. They will not be used to fund the expedition.
